Diwali Night at ICCS

Prima Singh, the Assistant Director of Indian Culture Center of Sweden (ICCS), conducted a quiz competition. The winners were invited to celebrate Diwali Night at the ICCS on 30th October 2016!

Unlike the sound and the extravagant fireworks we are used to Celebrating Diwali in India, it was a quite, cozy celebration.

The guests included people from all across India who reside in Stockholm. There were also a few Swedes in beautiful Indian costumes who joined!

After informal get-together of meeting, greeting and getting to know each other, we headed up for the celebration!

The dinning was elegantly set in Indian style!

The lamp was lit and everyone prayed!

And then a delicious dinner was served!

It was beautiful evening – one that brought together diverse people and beautifully united them!
