Sam + Beryl Family Shoot

I have had the privileged of knowing Sam for over the last  years. He was a year junior to me in college. He has a warm and friendly personality. A people person. A leader by nature. Musician.

Sam married Beryl – one of the girls I have always admired ever since I moved to Hyderabad. She is multi talented – a singer, musician, actor and so much more.

Sam and Beryl have always been a joy to be around!

After their initial period of marriage, they wanted to expand their family. After months of waiting and no sign of pregnancy, they decided to pay the doctor a visit. Beryl was diagnosed with Polycystic Overy Syndrome (PCOS) and was told this condition reduces the chances of pregnancy. With a broken heart and all their hopes shattered, she underwent a series of tests and started treatment.

In less than two weeks, Sam shared with Bery that since children are a gift from God, He will grant them the desire of their hearts without treatment or medicines.

From then on, they prayed.

Believed.

And eagerly looked forward to their miracle.

On the morning of May 25th, 2015, Beryl took a home pregnancy test and to her complete astonishment, it turned positive! On January 5th, 2016, Sam and Beryl received their much awaited miracle – Ian William!

I was very excited when they asked me to come over and take pictures of their family. We planned to go to a nearby park. However, nature had other plans. Just an hour before our scheduled shoot, he sky grew dark and it began to rain cats and dogs!

I told myself I am not giving up and I will do my best with the current situation. I took most of the pictures in their balcony and the rest in their living room! What turned out was just beautiful!

A wee bit of heaven
drifted down from above-
A handful of happiness,
a heart full of love.

The mystery of life,
so sacred and sweet-
The giver of joy
so deep and complete.

Precious and priceless,
so lovable, too-
The world’s sweetest miracle,
baby, is you.
